Today marks a yet another significant milestone in the development of Chainfrog’s intellectual property strategy, with the granting and issuing of a United States patent titled “Peer-to-peer geolocation system”. The application was filed in December 2015, and to the best of our knowledge is the first patent grant to a Finnish company for a blockchain patent.
The patent for invention number 9,894,485 is for a system that allows location enabled clients such as mobile phones or IoT devices to submit their location to a peer-to-peer network in order to permanently record the determined locations on a blockchain.
Chainfrog has a further 8 patents pending, and one other grant. Please feel free to contact us at info@chainfrog.com or at +358 440101893 for more information.
